Why Michelle Cobbs and Fonzi Thornton, added singers from American disco band Chic, featured on their third album, "Risqué", released in 1979, would not become backup singers behind ABBA on "On And On And On"
Michelle Cobbs and Fonzi Thornton, added singers from American disco band Chic, would not become backup singers behind ABBA on "On And On And On" because the song was released in 1980, a year after the release of Chic's third album, "Risqué". Additionally, the two singers did not become a part of ABBA until 1982, when they both joined the group as full-time members. Therefore, they would not have been available to be backup singers on "On And On And On".
